This three page analysis and cold start video can be sent on request. 2) This car has been carefully maintained: It's documented service history shows 8 oil changes [average interval well under 5, 000 miles across its life] and has recently been upgraded to Motul 8100 X-cess GEN2 5W-40, this oil is preferred and recommended by many specialists. 3) A genuine UK-market car that has lived in a relatively mild climate rather than extreme cold-start conditions. 4) Recent specialist inspection by Bahnsport – the car starts cleanly from cold with zero smoke from either bank and no unusual noises. Bore scoring is a known potential issue on these engines. While no official failure rate exists, it is less common on well-maintained UK cars than many people fear. At under 45000 miles with frequent oil changes and no current symptoms, this example currently shows none of the classic warning signs.
