Seller's description

996.1 GT3 Clubsport (1999). 1 of 28 official UK RHD factory Club Sports. Of the 106 UK supplied 996.1 GT3’s only 4 were ordered in Polar Silver but, to the best of our knowledge, there was only 1 Club Sport in this colour. Rarely does the opportunity arise to buy something so unique, a 1 of 1. Particularly well known to us, indeed a car we’ve supplied twice. Once in 2009 and then again in 2013. A cherished, low mileage, original paneled collector grade car that presents beautifully and drives without issue. After 13 years, an overseas relocation has proved the catalyst for its’ sale. During our clients ownership the car has always been garaged, it’s not seen damp or salted roads, it’s covered a mere 3500 miles during which time its been looked after by either Addspeed in Horsham or Nine Excellence. Prior to 2013 maintenance has been with either Jaz Porsche, Autofarm or Official Porsche dealerships. The service history is fully invoice supported, spreadsheet summarised and chronologically bound in a large folder containing evidence for every bit of work ever done to the car over the course. Historic MOT’s are present as all keys. Overall condition is exceptional. The interior, particularly well preserved, shows no signs of wear to the usual touch points. Seat bolsters are unmarked as are the centre tunnel, gearknob and handbrake. The Nomex bucket seats, synonymous with the Clubsport, are complemented by factory ordered extended leather to both the dashboard and doorcards. A full roll cage including the rarely seen front section remains wedded to the car along with factory installed fire extinguisher, race harnesses and ignition feed cut switch (both of which are fully operational) The underside of the car is as sharp and fresh as the more visible aspects. No heavy after market under seal hiding corrosion, here. Whilst most of these look nice when viewed on the ground its the underside condition that differentiates good from bad and remains a key factor to the discerning buyer. Having left the factory with less protection than other models (purely in the interests of saving weight) it’s rare to find a 996 GT3 looking as well preserved as this one. In the 17+ years we’ve known this car it’s condition hasn’t changed. One of the finest we’d seen back in 2009. Still one of the finest we’ve seen all these years later. A special and significant 996 Mk1 GT3 Clubsport
