Seller's description

Offered for sale is this stunning 1976 Porsche 911 S, a timeless example of one of the world's most iconic sports cars. Combining unmistakable styling, engaging performance, and the character that only an air-cooled 911 can deliver, this classic is equally at home on weekend drives, Porsche club events, or in a discerning collector's garage. Powered by the legendary 2.7 litre air-cooled flat-six engine and paired with a manual gearbox, the 911 S offers the pure, analog driving experience that has made these cars so sought after. The unmistakable sound of the boxer engine, precise steering, and balanced handling create an experience that modern sports cars simply cannot replicate. This example, originally supplied in Los Angeles USA and registered January 1st 1976, has been thoroughly looked after throughout it’s entire life with paperwork documented all the way back the when it was new. With maintenance both mechanical and body being carried out by specialists both sides of the pond, it’s extremely hard to tell the car is 50 years old. Especially considering such a low mileage, a car of this calibre and provenance are becoming few and far between. The car presents beautifully inside and out, with classic Fuchs-style wheels, timeless body lines, and an interior that captures the simplicity and craftsmanship of the era. The one thing that stands out the most being the lovely light blue paint which was a paint to sample colour selected by the original owner which is very close to the Mexico blue that many rolled of the line in all those years ago. Also with plenty of optional equipment from the factory, the car was specced with all of the following: After 3 very much enjoyed years of ownership in which the car has been in storage with ourselves, the current owner has now decided to take on a new venture into the more modern side of the Porsche range. Therefore, whether you're looking for a collectible investment, a weekend touring car, or a piece of Porsche history, this 911 S is an outstanding opportunity.
