The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running. Our 911 Carrera GTS is equipped with the highly desired switchable sports suspension system, which includes the dashboard switch that stiffens the suspension in an instant, increasing connection to the road. It is also fitted with Sport Chrono Package Plus, which adds a SPORT & SPORT PLUS button that sharpen the throttle response, decreases shift speeds, hold gears for longer & blips the throttle on downshifts whilst also adding a dashboard mounted stopwatch to add to the sporting image of the C2 GTS. The optional 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission system provides instant changes, unleashing the power of the engine with minimal fuss. Because it has been specified in combination with Sport Chrono Package Plus, it unlocks additional shift speeds in both SPORT PLUS & LAUNCH CONTROL modes. These modes are only available with these options selected from the factory along with PDK. They enable the Carrera 2 GTS to respond & accelerate faster than the standard car, reducing the in-gear acceleration & the headline 0-60mph time by 0.4 seconds to just 4.3 seconds.
