Seller's description
Exceptional 1976 911 Turbo Carrera Left Hand Drive. Finished in Copper Brown Metallic (Paint code 443) over Cork leather. Supplied new by Porsche in Pasadena California to a well-known Hollywood Plastic Surgeon who kept and used the car for 23 years. The car is supplied with the Original service book, marketing brochures, original bill of sale, and Porsche letter of Authenticity. This is a car we know well having supplied it to a long-term client of ours back in 2022. There have been 5 owners in total. The first and second owner lived in the US. The 3rd owner was German collector whilst owners 4 and 5 have been UK based and known to ourselves. The extensive history files retain the details of all owners whilst the car was imported to the UK in 2015 by owner 4. With a production run from 1975 to 1977 the 3.0 Turbo Carrera is a comparatively rare car with a total of 2819 units produced worldwide. This compares to 18770 units for the 3.3 Turbo that ran from 1978 to 1989. From our research we believe this to be 1 of 259 cars worldwide in this colour scheme. How many remain is anyone’s guess! The car benefits from the most detailed and frankly fascinating service history. Indeed the service history, split over a number of files, is truly as good as it gets; Fully ordered and incorporating literally every invoice from the first to the last. The most recent spark plug service was carried out by ourselves in 11/09/2026 at a mileage of 75725. An original paneled Turbo which is accident free, blemish-free and rust-free. A matching numbers car in Collectors condition. Bodywork, interior, and wheels are Concours. It also worth noting that the car drives as nicely as it looks. A strong engine and gearbox with no Synchro issues. Delightfully fluid and ‘peppy’ off boost with no tired suspension and a proper geometry setup. Having known and worked on the car for a number of years we’re really excited to offer it for sale again. Undoubtedly one of our favorites with significant long-term investment potential. Special is the word! Detailed images to follow.
