Seller's description

The Porsche Cayenne is a mid-size luxury crossover sport utility vehicle produced by Porsche since 2002. It was the first Porsche model offered with a V8 engine since the 928 was discontinued in 1995. Introduced in 2017, the third-generation Cayenne represented a major evolution of Porsche’s SUV, moving onto a lighter, more advanced platform while becoming sharper to drive, more refined on the road and considerably more sophisticated inside. The styling was cleaned up too, with a lower roofline, broader rear treatment and more cohesive proportions giving the Cayenne a sleeker, more modern appearance without losing the practicality that had made the model so successful. The Cayenne E-Hybrid joined the range soon after, pairing a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 with an electric motor for a combined 456bhp and 700Nm. Porsche’s approach was notably performance-led, using the electric motor not simply to reduce fuel use but to add immediate response and stronger low-speed torque, giving the hybrid model a character of its own. A 14.1kWh battery allowed the E-Hybrid to cover shorter journeys on electric power alone, while the eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel-drive system retained the usability expected of a Cayenne. With 0–62mph in 5.0 seconds, it remained genuinely quick, yet could also settle into quiet, near-silent running around town. That breadth is what makes this generation of Cayenne E-Hybrid particularly appealing. It combines the comfort and practicality of a large luxury SUV with proper Porsche performance, while the hybrid system adds another layer of everyday usability rather than changing the fundamental character of the car. Quartzite Grey Metallic, Panoramic Roof System, 21-Inch RS Spyder Design Wheels, Adaptive Air Suspension With Porsche Active Suspension Management, Sport Chrono Package With Mode Switch, Black Full Leather Upholstery, ParkAssist Front And Rear With Reversing Camera, Privacy Glass, Ambient Interior Lighting, Power Steering Plus, Eight-Way Electrically Adjustable Front Seats, Porsche Communication Management With Online Navigation, Roof Rails In Matt Aluminium, Automatically Dimming Mirrors, Black High-Gloss Interior Package, Multifunction Sports Steering Wheel With Gearshift Paddles, Cruise Control With Speed Limiter Quartzite Grey Metallic brings real definition to the Cayenne’s broad shoulders and clean body lines, with a subtle warmth that keeps it from feeling like another conventional dark grey SUV. It works especially well on the third-generation shape, whose lower roofline and more resolved rear treatment give the car a noticeably sleeker profile than its predecessor. Acid Green E-Hybrid badging provides a small but distinctive flash of colour, set against aluminium window surrounds, matt-aluminium roof rails and rear privacy glass. The full-width rear light bar finishes the design neatly, adding a modern Porsche signature without making the exterior feel overworked. Condition throughout is excellent. The paintwork retains a deep, even metallic finish, while the exterior trim, glass and lighting remain equally well presented. The cabin feels considered rather than decorated, with each material used to give the otherwise dark specification a little more definition. Black leather, gloss-black dashboard trim and crisp metal edging are joined by blue ambient lighting and brushed-aluminium Cayenne sill plates. The panoramic roof does important work here, opening up both rows and preventing the black interior from feeling enclosed. Despite the Cayenne’s size, Porsche has kept the driver at the centre of the layout. An analogue tachometer sits between the configurable digital displays, with the multifunction steering wheel, Sport Chrono dial and raised centre console grouped closely around it. PCM and the touch-sensitive controls provide the expected modern functionality without losing the familiar structure of a Porsche cockpit. Porsche never treated the E-Hybrid as merely the economical Cayenne. Its 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 produces 335bhp, joined by a 134bhp electric motor integrated into the eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission. Together they generate 456bhp and 700Nm, taking the Cayenne from 0–62mph in 5.0 seconds and on to 157mph. The clever part is how Porsche uses the electric motor. Its boost strategy draws on the thinking behind the 918 Spyder, adding immediate response as well as allowing shorter journeys to be completed in E-Power mode. Hybrid Auto, Sport and Sport Plus alter how the two power sources work together, while Porsche Traction Management distributes their output across all four wheels. The optional 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels suit the Cayenne’s scale particularly well. Their fine spokes and polished faces make the car appear lighter on its feet, while the dark titanium centres provide a clean backdrop for the Acid Green brake calipers. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tyres complete the setup. Behind them sits adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, allowing the ride height and damping to be adjusted through PCM. It gives the Cayenne useful breadth, with a more relaxed setting for everyday journeys and greater chassis control when a firmer response is wanted. Delivered to Porsche Centre Reading in October 2019, this Cayenne has had just two owners from new. Its specification was clearly considered carefully, combining Quartzite Grey Metallic and black full leather with the panoramic roof, 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, adaptive air suspension and Sport Chrono Package. Its documented service history records four services over the course of its life. Most recently, the Cayenne received a minor service on 30 September 2026 at 45,843 miles, leaving its latest scheduled maintenance attended to ahead of sale. Present with the car is the original Porsche book pack, service documentation and invoices, V5C, MOT certificates and two keys.
