Seller's description

The chance to own a Beautiful and Rare Porsche 911 (997 Gen 2) Targa 4S (less than 150 now registered in UK). Bulletproof DFI engine. Lovingly and meticulously maintained with no expense spared since I bought it in 2021 (Spent £18k on service & maintenance). Full Porsche approved specialists service history. Fuel pump & Coolant pipe replaced Jan 2026 and Targa roof repaired June 2026. An investment now increasing in value! Registered Jan 2010, 7-speed PDK gearbox, Sport Chrono plus package, Park distance control, Multi-function leather heated steering wheel, Navigation System, Heated front seats, Electrically adjustable sports seats, 19-inch wheels, “PASM” electronic damper control, Porsche stability management, Immobilizer, central locking, Theft security system, On-board computer, BOSE sound package, Sports tailpipes, 3. 8 L flat six engine producing 385PS. 0-60 mph in 4. 3s and top speed 185mph. FSH from Porsche specialists (just serviced 15/ 7/ 26 and MOT until 29/ 7/ 27). Targa roof repaired June 2026 with full provenance. In excellent condition inside and out and a pure joy to drive! 84, 600 mileage Like many young boys I had a dream to one day own a 911! Into my 50's I managed to achieve that dream and haven't regretted a single thing over the last 5 years. It took me over 6 months to find the one! I specifically wanted a 997 Gen2 Targa 4S as I had done a lot of homework on potential problem models and years with common issues. I also like the rarity of this model with only 164 RHD models registered in the UK initially and that number is now below 150 (maybe some careless drivers there?) The Colour specification is really special and although I'm biased I truly believe it is one of the best looking 911's I have ever seen. I often have strangers approach me when getting in or out who compliment the car! Anyone who has knowledge of 911's will know that if properly looked after and maintained then it is one of the few cars that will appreciate in value. Be under no illusion though. Properly servicing and maintaining requires an approved Porsche specialist and they are not cheap. Worth it though! Whether the roof is open or closed I usually drive with a smile on my face and the radio off so I can hear the engine.
