A change in personal circumstance forces the sale of my lovely 2004 986 Boxster S. The perfect specification in my opinion, 3200cc engine, 6 speed gearbox, 18" Carrera alloys, Arctic Silver metallic paint, and a black leather interior. Being a 2004 model it's ULEZ compliant and comes with the upgraded glass rear screen, facelift interior, bumpers, spoiler, clear lenses, and an 8 BHP increase over the pre-facelift model. I purchased the car from a local private seller back in April 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed owning it over the past 3 years. It's been used solely as a weekend car during the dry summer months and is garage stored throughout the year. The battery is constantly maintained using a CTEK battery conditioner. The car has had 6 owners prior to myself and has always been maintained regardless of cost as the service and MOT history proves. All maintenance during my ownership has been undertaken by Elite Porsche, who are very well respected Porsche specialists in the South East. They always comment on how tidy it is! No expense has been spared with a full folder containing all bills and receipts included, which verifies the history dating back to the original owner. Notably over the previous 5 years the car has benefited from new front springs & dampers, top mounts, ARB links, tyres, brake pads & discs, condensers, alternator, hood tension ropes, and minor & major services. In 2022 the previous owner paid a significant amount of money to have the IMS bearing inspected, the gearbox refreshed, and the clutch replaced. When I purchased the car I noted some wear and tear marks on the rear boot lid and bumper which really bugged me, so last summer I arranged for Elite Porsche to respray these panels, returning them to a factory finish. Earlier this year I purchased an original set of 18" Carrera alloys from a fellow 986 owner. I arranged for these to be professionally refurbished, added a new set of tyres and mounted them with a set of +5mm hub spacers as recommended by Porsche.
