2001 Porsche Boxster, 2. 7 Manual. 62, 500 miles, 2 previous owners. Zanzibar red / orangerot metallic (Code L1A8) As a hobby outside of my day job, I like to buy and restore boxsters. This was my third, which I bought to do some paintwork on (the three top panels need a respray). Priced with this in mind. Unfortunately, with holidays the summer got away from me and I don’t have the facilities at home to do the paint myself over the winter, hence the sale. I can honestly say that this is the best driving Boxster I have owned. The clutch and engine are in great health, the exhaust sounds amazing, and the steering is really tight, with no play. It has the orange colour matched roll bar, which is also nice option. The interior is mint condition, black leather seats are undamaged and radio works well. My plan was to try and sell for £8000+ once the work was finished, as the low owners, low miles, and super rare colour would make this a really desirable example. It will be a great car for whoever wants to give it the love it needs (paintwork only, mechanically it is great). The MOT lasts until April. It looks as though the advisory on the sill was taken care of before I purchased the car. Service history is great, although it would be due one quite soon. It has a fresh roof with glass rear window, and lots of tyre tread. I also have silver wheel centre caps that I can include with the car. Open to sensible offers. I think this would be great when finished, unfortunately I don’t have the garage for paintwork over winter.
