2001 (Y reg) a striking, low-mileage example in an exceptionally rare Deep Purple Metallic finish, complemented by a beige interior, purportedly only one of eleven in the UK. This 3.2-litre model, six-speed manual gearbox with just 59,750 miles on the clock. MOT valid until August 2027, with service history and extensive supporting documentation. Acquired in 2013 with just 18,000 miles on the clock, with two previous owners. Initially used for my daily commute, now only weekend and leisure use, averaging around 3,000 miles a year. Reluctant sale having spent the time and money getting it to run probably the best it has been during my ownership. However, a new adventure aboard next year has forced the decision to sell. HISTORY & MAINTENANCE The car comes with its Porsche service booklet and extensive supporting documentation, including invoices, service records and MOT certificates. Over the past two years, I've spent over 4.5K bringing it back to its best mechanically. It has covered just 1,000 miles since its last full service, which included new spark plugs and spark plug tubes, ignition coils for cylinders 1, 2 and 5, and a/c pressure and return pipes. SPECIFICATION Powered by a 3.2-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 250hp. The distinctive paintwork is Purple Viola Metallic (codes 3AE [registration removed]), sometimes referred to as Viola Pearl. Porsche forums suggest that there are only 12 examples in the UK and 30 worldwide, with one subsequently scrapped for parts. The beige leather interior may make this combination rarer still, with perhaps only a couple of examples rather than the more usual black interior. Features include a rear spoiler, alloy wheels, red brake callipers, xenon headlights with washers, rain-sensing wipers, body-coloured roll bars and a wind deflector. Also included are a spare wheel, the original tool kit, a Porsche sound system and Porsche mats. CONDITION Mechanically very sound, the car runs beautifully and sounds great. It has covered just 1,000 miles since its last full service. The replacement hood features an upgraded heated glass rear window and is watertight, in good condition and fully operational. The paintwork is very good for its age, with only a few small stone chips. The V5C records three owners, and the accompanying history supports my ownership of over 13 years.
