Porsche Boxster 986 S (2001) - Spares or Repair Strong-running Boxster S with a coolant leak. Needs a fix and a trailer, but it's a good one to save. She was a cracking car to drive until the coolant leak left her with no coolant, so she isn't driveable now. She starts every time and idles well. I've had no engine issues, and there was no metal or debris in the oil filter when I last checked in August 2026. I bought her as a project and didn't get far before work and life took over. I've now run out of cash for it, so she needs a new owner. No coolant, so not driveable. You'll need a trailer or recovery. - No service history. I was told the clutch was done at 80k, but I have no paperwork to prove it. - IMS bearing. No evidence it's been done, so assume it hasn't. - Engine warning light is on for two oxygen sensors (photo included). - Remote locking doesn't work. Everything else electrical is fine. - Indicator stalk is sticky. You have to hold it down to indicate left and push it back manually after indicating right. - Driver's seat height lever is broken. I've bought a new one but not fitted it. - Wheels are lovely but have a few chips. - Heater is either hot or cold. - MOT expired. It's booked for 17 November. If she doesn't sell, I'll SORN her.
