Seller's description
Here is my 1994 Porsche 968 Club Sport. I am listing the car for a short period at this price, if it sells within the next couple of weeks then great, if not then it will go into storage for the Winter. There are NO OFFERS at this price, it is the cheapest CS in the UK and its a great car. The car is a bargain, you'll be able to enjoy it for a while AND make money when selling it on in the future. Please only contact me if you are a genuine buyer at the advertised price. Finished in Speed Yellow with colour coded alloy wheels and Black Club Sport side graphics. The Club Sport is rarely available especially in such a pure form and in arguably the most striking of the available colours. This is a very scarce Porsche model that is currently undervalued. One day these will be very expensive cars. This example has covered 148, 000 miles from new, circa 5k miles per year from new. It is in very clean and tidy condition for the age and mileage and is an absolute head turner. This particular 968 CS has a very desirable specification without the options that were often applied to others which then diluted the Club Sport feel. Items of note that this car DOES NOT have include, Sunroof, AC, central locking, electric windows. It is also important to understand that this is a genuine factory-built CS model, not a watered-down UK Sport. The car is supplied with a very impressive service record and Porsche authenticity. The vehicle starts, runs and drives very well, all of the functions appear to work correctly and any test or inspection prior to purchase is welcome. This is a very pure driving car, nothing like modern day car with excessive power and turbo charged engines. The gearbox is beautiful and precise, and the engine pulls very strongly. The handling of the 968 CS is something to be experienced and, on this car, it is further improved by the addition of brand new AR1 fast road/ track tyres. The interior is in excellent overall condition overall; the seats are in great condition as is the wonderfully chunky CS steering wheel. There is no radio in the car at the moment although behind the blanking plate there is the wiring for one together with fitted speakers and an aerial. This car is offered in its original factory specification however I do also have a set of colour coded genuine 968 CS Recaro bucket seats available by separate negotiation. The bodywork is very good overall with just a few very minor age-related marks as to be reasonably expected given the age and mileage of the vehicle. The paint is very good for the year, and the car presents really nicely, it is a very honest example. I have lots of images and videos of the car and history available via WhatsApp. It was first registered on 21. 04. 1994 and it has had nine owners in its 32-year life. The MOT is valid until 21. 06. 2027 and all previous MOT history can be checked via the VOSA/ DVLA websites. Overall, this is a great value, stunning looking, very well performing and nicely maintained Porsche 968 CS. These rare cars are becoming more sought after and surely must be one of the last remaining limited edition modern classic Porsche models that retain a level of affordability. The car has a complete folder of history from day one including a certificate of authenticity. Highlights of the history include. 02. 05. 26 @ 147, 863 miles - New radiator and thermostat 04. 09. 24 @ 147, 524 miles - Cambelt and balance shaft belt replaced with cam chain guides and PAS belt 23. 07. 18 - Rocker cover gaskets and cambelt and guides 02. 04. 15 - Repairs to jacking points 26. 02. 15 @ 142, 747 miles - Service at Porsche main dealer 14. 11. 14 - OS lower sill repairs as required 23. 01. 13 @ 134, 964 miles - General maintenance at Porsche main dealer 14. 09. 12 - Cambelt replacement 12. 04. 11 @ 132, 276 miles - Service at Porsche main dealer 28. 04. 10 @ 130, 596 miles 05. 12. 08 @ 127, 248 miles - Full service including plugs 24. 09. 08 @ 125, 269 miles - New suspension fitted 15. 08. 08 - Bodywork refresh and PAS rack replacement at cost of over Six thousand pounds 01. 05. 08 @ 120, 220 miles 28. 02. 08 @ 116, 905 miles - New clutch fitted 30. 11. 07 @ 114, 766 miles - Full service plus new inlet and exhaust camshaft replacements plus belts 05. 07. 07 @ 106, 244 miles 15. 02. 07 @ 95, 681 miles - Brake rebuild, cambelt, lower arm bushes 17. 12. 06 @ 93, 941 miles 27. 04. 05 @ 92, 054 miles 11. 11. 03 @ 87, 931 miles 12. 06. 03 - Full engine rebuild 04. 11. 02 @ 78, 887 miles 18. 01. 02 @ 66, 548 miles 29. 01. 01 @ 54, 135 miles 24. 04. 00 @ 41, 585 miles - Cambelt replacement 13. 04. 99 @ 35, 484 miles 03. 04. 98 @ 23, 618 miles 15. 04. 97 @ 11, 070 miles 05. 06. 96 @ 9, 418 miles 14. 06. 95 @ 2, 694 miles 23. 04. 94 - PDI
