Seller's description
This Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa is a striking and comprehensively modified sports car, fitted with a turbocharged 3.4-litre flat-six. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.4-litre flat-six driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. This UK-market example was first registered in May 1987, and has reportedly been in the seller’s family for the past 23 years. The odometer indicates 58,077 miles. Equipment and features It is finished in an appealing shade of metallic blue, over a navy blue leather-trimmed interior. It rides on a set of 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels finished in satin-black with machined lips, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Equipment includes a top-tinted windscreen, electrically adjustable front seats, a Blaupunkt Toronto cassette stereo, heater and ventilation controls, electric windows, and a heated rear screen. The upgraded drivetrain reportedly centres around a 964-generation 911 Turbo engine producing 520bhp, paired with a 964-era 911 Turbo gearbox. It also features an aftermarket RSR-style front bumper and a rear ‘tea tray’ spoiler, as well as KW Variant 3 suspension, Elephant Racing turbo brake components, and Elephant Racing torsion bars. Further enhancements include a bespoke inlet system, an enlarged TurboKraft intercooler, a custom exhaust system, a turbo boost gauge, a Stack rev-counter with tell-tale function, a vacuum brake servo pump with warning light, and backdated heater controls. The sale will include the original Porsche book pack, two large files of documentation and invoices, and two keys. Condition Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the front bonnet was scraped by a lorry when the car was nearly new. The repair was carried out by Porsche Reading, and supporting photographs are included within the history file. The front and rear bumpers have also been refinished. MOT test history is shown via the button in the listing overview. Service history The last maintenance was carried out in April 2026 at 57,795 miles by RPM Technik. The work included replacing the 935 camshafts with 964 camshafts to improve low-speed drivability, carrying out an engine oil service, installing a heat exchanger, fitting backdated heater controls, preparing the wiring for a future heated windscreen installation, and repairing the heated rear window. The seller states that the previous maintenance was carried out by CTR Developments. The seller states that the car has benefited from extensive maintenance during their ownership, with the accompanying invoices documenting the work completed.
