Seller's description
A left-hand drive RS Supplied new to Hamburg, Germany, finished in Grand Prix white with green lettering and first registered in the summer of ’73. Today, this RS presents very nicely due to relatively recent, professional cosmetic attention. Two large boxes of history outline this exciting RS’s history including albums of period photographs. This is a known example that has competition history including being the Porsche Club Europa Cup class 6 championship winner in the ‘80’s. Purchased in the mid ‘90’s by the current owner, the RS was registered in France and continued to successfully compete in prestigious events across Europe including Tour Auto in the hands of his father. To help preserve the RS it was retired from competition in 2010. In 2017 a Porsche approved, award-winning body shop set about a sympathetic cosmetic uplift. Unsurprisingly non-matching this wholesome RS offers its next custodian options to enjoy as is, compete once again or return to Touring specification.
